Famous Cigars

Whatever your interest, everybody always wants to have the most famous and most revered products. For food this is often rare wines, for cars it’s Ferrari’s, but for cigar smokers out there, what are the famous cigars? This is a difficult question to answer because every different smoker has a different flavor they like the most and it’s not only flavor, but also the smoking experience of different cigars. So even though something might be famous, it may not be a product you like very much. On the other hand, these famous products may help you get into a style of cigar that you never knew you would enjoy. Either way, it’s always to be in the know when it comes to an activity you enjoy.

There’s one other problem with defining what is famous. Cuba is perhaps one of the most famous regions for tobacco products. Its tropical conditions and sun give their tobacco a richness that is difficult to produce elsewhere. Unfortunately for Americans due to a trade embargo, these cigars are impossible to acquire. Many brands sell similar cigars as their Cuban styles in order to try to give Americans a taste, but these are not the same.

With this in mind, there are many famous types out there. Perhaps the most well known is Cohiba. This is the emblematic cigar of Cuba and has been seen smoked by celebrities and other world leaders practically everywhere. They are best known for their large size. Monte Cristo is perhaps the next brand in line for fame. These are quality cigars in both Cuban and non-Cuban varieties that come in a tremendous amount of variations using tobacco from some of the world’s best growing regions.
